Chelsea noel

Chelsea is a volunteer Research Assistant in the Cognitive Remediation and NeuroImaging lab. She has always been passionate about the field of psychology and the impact of mental illness, leading her to enrol in the Honors Bachelors of Science program with a specialization in Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She has recently earned her Bachelor’s degree, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Program Evaluation. She currently works as a research assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Institute of Mental Health Research Work and Mental Health Unit. While her current research lies in the field of psychiatric epidemiology, the early identification and prevention of mood and anxiety disorders, and workplace mental health, her undergraduate thesis examined the cognitive effects of an adjunct psychotherapy for Schizophrenia. Chelsea’s primary research interests include preventative care and treatment, cognition, and adjunct mental health treatment outcomes
