Emotions in Action Study

(This study will start in Summer 2019)

This study focuses on youth who are at genetic high-risk of developing psychosis (i.e., adolescents who have a first degree relative with schizophrenia (a sibling or a parent)). We will offer a two-week emotion recognition training to these adolescents and test whether it improves their emotion recognition skills. This research will potentially contribute to the development of preventive care for youth family members of people who live with a mental health disorder.
