Tazeen Murtaza
I am a Master's student in Human Neuroscience at the University of Turku, Finland. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology and am interested in cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging, and psychiatric disorders. I am currently completing my Master's thesis under the supervision of Dr. Synthia Guimond at CRANIlab, where I am investigating the relationship between cholinergic neurotransmission and functional brain connectivity in schizophrenia using multimodal PET and resting-state fMRI. My broader research interests include brain network organization, executive functioning, and the application of neuroimaging to better understand psychiatric disorders. Outside of research, I enjoy hiking, exploring nature, and discovering new places.
