Mazen Elleithy

Mazen is completing his Honours Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Ottawa. His honours thesis is supervised by Dr. Synthia Guimond in the Cognitive Remediation and Neuroimaging Lab at The Royal, where his research uses TMS-EEG to examine LTP-like plasticity in serious mental illness. In addition to his thesis, Mazen’s broader interests include the molecular mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders. Beyond research, he enjoys playing sports, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
