Sean Dellaire

Sean has been working in the field of therapeutic recreation and mental health for nearly 10 years, with a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing first episode psychosis . He is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and works as a Recreation Therapist with The Ottawa Hospital, where he provides therapeutic recreation services across inpatient and outpatient mental health programs. His professional interests include evidence-based therapeutic recreation interventions, community integration, recovery-oriented practice, and the development and evaluation of innovative programs for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.

Sean holds a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Brock University and is currently completing a Master of Science in Therapeutic Recreation at Northwest Missouri State University. In his free time, Sean enjoys golf, sports, reading, and spending time with his family.
